The "Problem" With Condi
Glenn Sacks provides the best analysis and commentary on how men and fathers are being systematically shafted by both the criminal and family court system. He also debunks every single statistic commonly used by feminists to harass men, such as the "1 in 4 women on college campus will be raped" banner they use to intimidate the minority of men on campus. Mr. Sacks even has a radio show on every Sunday night, called His Side, that is broadcast over the Internet.
It would seem that much of this victim mentality started in Women's Studies departments on college campuses. But, finally, women are stepping up to challenge this point of view. In addition to providing a fresh and rational voice on a number of topics, the Independent Women's Forum performed a review of the most commonly used textbooks in university level Women's Studies departments. It is astonishing and well worth reading this short review. Needless to say, the women of the Independent Women's Forum, and any other woman such as Condi Rice who refuses to rant victim hysterics, are considered heretics by NOW.
Of course, feminists on campus love to point an accusatory finger at the men that are still there, and they are now dramatically in the minority. In fact, from top to bottom our education system is failing boys. Boys have a drop out rate that is 4 times higher than girls; they are 10 times more likely to be put on Ritalin; and young men on campus dropped below 50% years ago and are quickly approaching 40%. All of this was occurring while the nation was pre-occupied with girls "loosing their voice" in high school. Christina Hoff-Sommers provides an excellent analysis of the dire situation for boys and young men in her book, "The War Against Boys: How Misguided Feminism Is Harming Our Young Men," as well as describing the systematic way in which this war has been conducted by feminists.
The great thing about alternative media is that we can make available and access information that has not been filtered by editorial staffs with an agenda. Through voices like those of Glenn Sacks and the women of the Independent Women's Forum, we are learning just what a scam "gender politics" really is.
