Protestors At Patty Murray's Secret Meeting

Here are a couple of wife beaters that were protesting VAWA at Patty Murray's secret "Community Meeting."

Oh, but wait, these are women! Yes, that's right, women!

The fact that women in Washington State are against VAWA in its present form certainly has Patty Murray confused, judging by the way she ran away after holding court in her secret "Community Meeting."

Why, you ask, are women against VAWA? Well, Phyllis Schlafly says it best:

Here is some mischief in VAWA-funded activities that should be investigated in the upcoming Senate Judiciary Committee hearing.

VAWA refuses to provide any help whatsoever for male victims of domestic violence. Let's hear from Professor Martin Fiebert of California State University at Long Beach who compiled a bibliography of 170 scholarly investigations, 134 empirical studies and 36 analyses, which demonstrate that women are almost as physically abusive toward their partners as men.

VAWA encourages women to make false allegations, and then petition for full child custody and a denial of all fathers' rights to see their own children.

VAWA promotes the unrestrained use of restraining orders, which family courts issue on the woman's say-so. This powerful weapon (according to the Illinois Bar Journal) is "part of the gamesmanship of divorce" and virtually guarantees that fathers are expelled from the lives of their own children.

A woman seeking help from a VAWA-funded center is not offered any options except to leave her husband, divorce him, accuse him of being a criminal, and have her sons targeted as suspects in future crimes. VAWA ideology rejects joint counseling, reconciliation, and saving marriages.

VAWA denies that alcohol and illegal drugs are a cause of domestic violence, a peculiar assumption contrary to all human experience. In fact, most domestic violence incidents involve those components.

VAWA uses a definition of domestic violence that blurs the difference between violent action and run-of-the-mill marital tiffs and arguments. Definitions of abuse can even include minor insults and refusing to help with child care or housework.

VAWA funds the re-education of judges and all law enforcement personnel to teach them feminist stereotypes about male abusers and female victims, how to game the system to empower women, and how to ride roughshod over the constitutional rights of men.

VAWA forces Soviet-style psychological re-education on men. The accused men are not given treatment for real problems, but are assigned to classes where feminists teach shame and guilt because of a vast male conspiracy to subjugate women.

VAWA-funded centers engage in political advocacy for feminist legislation such as the "must-arrest" laws even if there is no sign of violence and even if the woman doesn't want the man arrested, and political advocacy against non-feminist legislation such as shared parental rights.

It's time to stop VAWA from spending any more taxpayers' money to promote family dissolution and fatherless children.

Funny woman-hating blog you got here! I guess women don't know what evil they are creating when they refuse to sleep with overweight unemployed men. In the old days these obese geezers would just die of heart disease, alone at their radio listening to Rush. Now with the internet they can broadcast their desperation and misogyny for all the world to see! Now a woman turns down a fatty who's begging for a date and the pastry puff turns around and makes a blog! Good for you! Turn that desperate lack of nookie into something destructive and dishonest! Just like a good Republican!

You forgot the part about being part of that vast patriarchy conspiracy, Bananaboat.

Funny how getting fed pork and feeling the power of destroying families makes a gal so angry. Especially when someone threatens the pork.

The truth hurts. Bitches can't cope with pain. They think they have a monopoly on it but they are scared shitless over anything that threatens thier comfort zone.

I don't know if I would put it that way, Anon. Actually, Bananaboat is just using an old trick of gender feminists. While they practice their destructive ideology, they conveniently hide behind being female when it suites them.

That is exactly what VAWA is all about. What guy is going to say, "I believe that we should allow violence against women"? So, VAWA is almost the perfect form of pork: a nice big slab, and virtually untouchable without being stigmatized.

There is one little problem, however. They forgot that not all women buy into the gender feminist victimhood cult. The two in the photo don't, and neither does Phyllis Schlafly. And, when Schlafly gets started on something, watch out! She is fearless. Now, that's a woman I look up to.

Hey, Iggy. Looks like bananalady has mastered the other side of their spew.

Anyone who doesn't agree with them becomes the subject of personal attacks, and a good dose of "wimmin logic" which does not address the question at hand, but engages in circular and tangential reasoning to do.....what?

I think you should call the PC Police on Bananalady. After all, she just met the definition of DV by namecalling, and with our must arrest and no drop policy, and the fact that her post is next to yours, that is close enuf for an arrest.

Of course, since she is womyn, she will be released right after her ugly mug breaks the camera. She should be so lucky as to land a fat guy. I sure ain't a gonna volunteer. Can't stand ungroomed underarms, and dyked up hair.

Lest you think that I am being rude to the beyatch, my momma said I should always respond in kind, so I did.

I have a feeling she's the sort that you could say "good morning" to and she would be offended. So, respond away.

It is outrageous to me that the VAWA could be allowed to go on unmodified. It not only harms Men,but also mothers and their children.Children need both parents and are entitled to both and wives are entitled to joint counseling with their spouses and to keep the man in their lives and their childrens lives if they desire to do so.The VAWA denies them that choice. Its a sad but cold and hard fact that the VAWA is about promoting misandry and nothing else.It has nothing to do with protecting women and mothers or their children,it sure as hell doesnt care about DV issues affecting men. Both Men and Women need to join forces to defeat this hateful legislation, there is a lot at stake. The ONLY winners of the VAWA are the hate promoters, everyone else loses miserably.

Some women wish to believe in fantasies and seem to have forgot for the Constitution to have been amended requires 2/3 AND at the time of the AMENDMENT XIX the vote was FROM ALL MEN. Yet, they did it!!!

Not only at the federal level, but at the state AND it was THEY whom passed it, not women, but MEN.

Tell me all you want about your imaginary phantoms, but the strongest evidence is the AMERICAN MALE did it.

It does not matter what went before, it was the men in this time in this age, who did it!

Thanks to such things as VAWA, it may prove they were only fools, but thanks to two courageous women, in the photo, it shows not all hope is lost, and equality is something which is honored!

There are many women who know that VAWA is not fair, and there are many more women who are currently learning this and will learn it in the future. The fact is anyone who wants VAWA as it is currently written is heartless and cruel. Anything that has a beating heart should be protected and have the support they need when abused. We can't stop the abuse, if we could stop parents from beating their children we may be able to stop the DV but until then their needs to be help and protection AND FAIRNESS per gender.
Patty Murray should be ashamed of herself. I wonder if she knows Rick Bart :)

What do you know about VAWA?

    10:40 PM

I know it's based on feminist ideology and the so-called "experts" out there that are funded by VAWA believe that DV is the result of patriarchal "entitlement, control, and oppression" of men over women.

This is, of course, nonsense. Their real agenda is two-fold: (1) they want money and the power that comes with it from the federal government and (2) they want to send as many men as possible to "patriarchy re-education" gulag.
